Ergo Proxy is the latest anime from "manglobe", the creator of Samurai Champloo. Ergo Proxy is a science-fiction action adventure TV-series with 23 episodes. The director is Shukou Murase (Witch Hunter Robin). Screenplay is done by Dai Sato (Wolf's Rain, Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop). Ergo Proxy is pre-licensed by Geneon Entertainment (USA). The first episode of this anime will air February 25th, 2006.

Synopsis
In a world where humans and robots live together, there exists a domed city named "Romudo". Under full management control, it is a paradise which does not need feelings. But this utopian landscape is soon broken by a series of mystifying murders. Ril Meyer, a female inspector from the Citizen Information Board, is tasked to solve the murder cases. As she digs deeper, she is soon entangled into the mystery of the "Awakening", which will change her life, and the lives living in Romudo...forever.
